A little further down, at the location of Moucha, you can admire the fjords of the lake and the islet of Niaga. It is also an opportunity for shopping as on one side of the bridge, beautiful little shops and stalls have been set up by local producers. Here, you can admire many important relics such as holy gospels, manuscripts, church utensils and much more. Don’t forget to notice the magnificent wood-carved iconostasis and the frescoes that adorn the temple. This is an area of 10 acres in which part of the floral elements of the wider area of Lake Plastira, but also of Greece in general, have been collected and stored.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every year it receives a large number of visitors, either students in the context of environmental education or a multitude of other groups or individual visitors who wish to obtain more and more specialized information about the flora of the area.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Botanical Garden is open all year round. Visitors have the opportunity to take a guided tour, buy aromatic plants and herbs, drink coffee and soft drinks, and take a short walk to the lake, which is just 50m away.<\/span><\/p>\n
